For many years, the city of Pardubice has prepared a monumental fireworks display for its citizens on the eve of the world-famous Velká Pardubická steeplechase, and we were tasked with enhancing this event. The surface of the Elbe River naturally lent itself to projection onto an ethereal water screen. Given the large number of spectators, estimated by the city to be around fifteen thousand, it was necessary to install three synchronized water screens on floating pontoons along a length of approximately 200 meters on the river.
A very powerful and touching story of a horse and a fairy underscored the lightness of the projection onto the water screens and stirred genuine enthusiasm among the audience. The experience was further enhanced by watching the entire show from the deck of the steamship Arnošt.
